TIG NOTARO – Saturday, May 24th
Standup comedian Tig Notaro will headline the Green Mountain Comedy Festival this year with two great shows at the Universalist Unitarian church in Burlington, Vermont on Saturday, May 24th.

Tig Notaro was nominated for a Grammy Award for her sophomore comedy album LIVE. The album sold over 100,000 units in just six weeks. Louis CK is quoted as saying that it is one of the best stand-up performances he ever saw. During this album release, Tig was reviewed and profiled by The New York Times, The New Yorker, Entertainment Weekly, Vanity Fair, GQ Magazine, Rolling Stone and Time Magazine among many others. During this campaign Tig also closed a book deal with Ecco, an imprint of Harper Collins.

Tig’s project with Showtime, entitled Knock Knock, It’s Tig Notaro, follows Tig as she performs in the actual homes, barns and cul-de-sacs of selected fans across the country. Tig also recently appeared in the Lake Bell feature In a World, and is next slated to appear in the feature Walk of Shame opposite Elizabeth Banks, and Shreveport opposite Ryan Phillippe, both due out in 2014. Tig continues to host her weekly podcast, Professor Blastoff, which has consistently been in the top 10 iTunes comedy podcast charts.

Tig remains a favorite on both PRI’s This American Life, and on Conan. In previous years Tig has guest starrred on shows such as ABC’s Suburgatory, NBC’s The Office and Community, HBO’s The Life and Times of Tim, wrote for the 2011 Emmys and 2010 MTV Movie Awards, and toured nationally and internationally at the most reputable comedy and music festivals.

MYQ KAPLAN – Thursday, May 22nd
Myq Kaplan is a comedian named Myq Kaplan. Myq made his network television debut on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and has since gone on to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and in his own half-hour Comedy Central Presents: Myq Kaplan special.

He was also a Top 5 finalist on the most recent season of Last Comic Standing, and his debut CD was one of iTunes’ top ten best-selling albums of the year. For more bragging, check out or just call his grandmother.

Upright Citizens Brigade house team Airwolf is back by popular demand! Their hit show in New York City, “Let’s Go Back to Your Place,” takes your hellish tales of crazy roommates, weird neighbors and other outrageous living situations and spins them into a fast, funny and fully improvised show.

DEANNE SMITH – Sunday, May 25th
DeAnne Smith has been seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, HBO’s Funny As Hell, on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and at the Just For Laughs festival.

DeAnne has earned two Canadian Comedy Award nominations, Best Newcomer award at the Sydney Comedy Festival, and a nomination for the Barry Humphries (a.k.a. Dame Edna) award at the 2011 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

SPECTER – Friday, May 23rd
ImprovBoston’s hottest new improv troupe, Specter performs regularly on Thursday nights as part of the “Harold Night: Top Shelf” series at ImprovBoston. Specter is made up of some of the sharpest minds in the Boston comedy scene, and has performed at both the Del Close Marathon and the Boston Comedy Arts Festival.
